Rakhi Sawant (Hindi: राखी सावंत) (born on 25 November1978) is an Indian dancer, Hindi film and television actress, model and television talk show host.Rakhi Sawant was born in a Hindu family in Mumbai on November 25, 1978. Her father was a constable with Mumbai Police at Worli Police Station. The name of her mother is Jaya Bagdi.She attended Goklibai High School in the Vile Parle suburb of Mumbai. She proceeded to Mithibai College in Vile parle, Mumbai to study Arts. She is the sister of film director Rakesh Sawant and former actress Usha Sawant.Sawant's family has been a conservative one. Her father was not too happy when he heard that his daughter has entered film industry to start her profession because he counted the profession as a disrespectful one.
